Anyone who enjoys nature
will truly appreciate la Vall de Laguar, as it is an ideal location
for walking. Different areas in the mountains are connected by
a web of paths, which were used since ancient times, some have
stone steps. These paths were abandoned in the 50's but are now
being used again by visitors.
One of the longest
and most dramatic routes for the more experienced hikers, is down
the Barranco del Infierno. There are many thousands of steps up
and down the steep precipice.
For a more gentle hike there are other signposted routes along
the top of the mountains, with breathtaking views. The spring
is probably the best season for walking, before it becomes too
hot.
