Campell

Set back in the mountains, just a 30 minute drive from the busy mediterannean coast you will find a spot of incredible beauty with a tranquillity which pervades.
La Vall de Laguart is made up of three villages; Campell, Fleix and Benimaurell, each having no more than 400 inhabitants.
Beautiful mountains surround the villages and being at an altitude of 437m there are breathtaking views towards the sea and inland towards more mountains.

Road leading to Fleix

This area has been declared National Park and is very unspoilt, compared to many coastal resorts in Spain. It rejoices with abundant natural water fountains and is a special place for nature lovers, especially those who like to walk. On one side is the “Cavall Verd”, a mountain peak with a legend and interesting history, and on the other side is the “Barranco del Infierno” (Hells Gorge), a very impressive sight.
